Lower Makefield Football is a Proud Member of the NFL FLAG Football program.

NFL FLAG, Powered by USA Football, provides opportunities for children age 5-15 to enjoy America's favorite sport. Players benefit by being physically active through non-contact, continuous action while learning the fundamentals of football, lessons in teamwork and sportsmanship.

NFL FLAG, powered by USA Football, is also part of NFL PLAY 60, the league's youth health and fitness campaign. The program promotes physical fitness by getting kids active for 60 minutes a day.

USA Football provides NFL FLAG players a USA Football joint parent-player membership in order to create a better game. Members will be prompted to log in to a joint NFL FLAG / USA Football log in page using the email address and password originally provided when they registered with NFL FLAG.

Players will find tools such as learning videos, NFL content and more. Parents will find leading resources and tools to help your young player have a positive experience. We are very excited to offer this new program as we continue to grow our league.

  • EDUCATION FOR COACHES | FLAG COACH Certification

    USA Football offers no cost flag football coaching education to all NFL FLAG coaches, which is the only flag football coaching certification certified by the National Council for Accreditation of Coaching Education (NCACE).

  • BACKGROUND CHECKS ON COACHES | Subsidized coach background checks

    To encourage leagues to complete coaching background checks, USA Football subsidizes $5 of every NFL FLAG coach background check. The background checks system, run by the National Center for Safety Initiatives, reviews the national sex registry, along with national, state and county criminal checks.

GETTING YOUR CHILD INVOLVED

Signing the NFL FLAG online waiver

After you register with the league, we will ask you to sign the quick one minute online waiver before your child steps on the field. Once you submit the waiver, NFL FLAG will instantly cover your child with player's insurance coverage. In addition, NFL FLAG will immediately email you a free USA Football player and parent account (regularly $10). The account will provide you and your player all the tools and education they need for a better, safer game.

During the regular Fall season each team will play two games per week. Games will typically be scheduled in the following time slots:

Saturday: 9:00am or 10:00am or 11:00am
Monday: 6:00pm or 7:00pm
Wednesday: 6:00pm or 7:00pm

For Spring, games will be on Sunday. Times will vary. Each game is scheduled to last one hour.
